S.S. Serikov - a talented engineer and organizer of the pumping, which in 1956 created in Sumy SCB of Feed Pumps.
S.P. Timoshenko - Academician of the Academy of Science of Ukraine, the world famous scientist, whose name is related to the Mechanics of Deformated Solids.
O.I. Inozemtsev - a talented scientist and teacher, the first director of the Sumy branch of Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, assistant professor of the Department of General Mechanics and Dynamics of Machines of Sumy State University.
