Department of Mechanics and Machine Dynamics regularly, every three years, starting in 1976, holds an International Scientific and Technical Conference on the Problems of Sealing, Vibration Reliability and Environmental Safety of Pump and Compressor Equipment "HERVICON".

The Department of General Mechanics and Dynamics of Machines is actively involved in the traditional university Scientific Conference of staff and students.

Annually at the Conference in the Section that runs at the Department of General Mechanics and Dynamics of Machines are represented more than 30 articles of students of 3-5 courses as well as post-graduate students with report the results of own research.
